报告人简介:

Professor Pierre H. Dixneuf is a Research Professor of Chemistry at the University of Rennes. He served as Vice President for Research at the University of Rennes from January 2001 to December 2004. In recognition of his contributions to chemistry, he received the Prize of the Chinese Chemical Society in 2014. In 2022, he was elected as a member of the Academia Europaea, and in 2023, he was honored as an Honorary Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society.

Professor Dixneuf has an extensive publication record with over 488 papers in international journals, including more than 30 since 2018. He holds 8 patents and has authored 7 books on ruthenium fine chemistry. From 2010 to 2023, he served on the Editorial Board of the journal Green Chemistry.

报告简介:

Professor Pierre H. Dixneuf will present recent discoveries in green catalytic processes involving ruthenium and cobalt catalysts.

1. Advances in Pyridines and Phosphines

Ruthenium(II) Catalysts: Enable sp² C–H bond activation in water, leading to the synthesis of hexa(heteroaryl)benzenes. Rhodium(I) Catalysts: Facilitate regioselective dialkylation of biaryl phosphines' ortho' C–H bonds, producing dialkylated phosphines with long chains or bulky dialkenylphosphines.

2. Partial Catalytic Hydrogenation of N-Heteroarenes and Nitroarenes

Ruthenium(II) Catalysts: Drive partial reduction of N-heteroarenes, enabling diastereoselective annulation of azaarenes in methanol and formaldehyde. Heterogeneous Cobalt Catalysts: Allow selective hydrogenation of nitroarenes using formic acid. In the presence of formaldehyde, this leads to the synthesis of valuable compounds like 1,3-diaryl imidazolines (NHC precursors), functional ethane-1,2-diamines, and γ-lactams.
