报告题目：Portable Liquid Crystal Sensor for Biological and Environmental Detection

报告摘要：

Liquid crystal (LC) sensor system has been recently considered as an emerging sensor system because its signal is colorful under ambient light, which allows untrained people for portable applications without the limitation of venue and instrumentation. In this talk, we will introduce the development of LC sensor system, including the design of sensing platform, detection mechanisms and applicable targets. Based on this information, we will further introduce how we use LC sensor system for detecting biological and environmental targets of interest, such as DNA, proteins, proteases, viruses, organophosphates, heavy metal ions and protons.

报告人简介：

陈志欣老師现任淡江大学化学系副教授。2006年获台湾师范大学博士学位后，先后在台湾中央研究院化学研究所及新加坡国立大学化学暨生物分子工程学系担任研究员，共有六年时间。2012年回台湾任教至今，主持过数项科研计画与产学合作计画等共9个项目。出版过三本化学相关教科书。研究领域主要分成两方面：(1)以可携式液晶感应系统检测环境中的危害物；(2)有机材料分子的设计与合成及其在光电元件上的应用。研究成果在Adv. Funct. Mater.等国际学术期刊上发表30多篇，其中包含三篇他引超100次的文章，拥有台湾及美国发明专利共3件。
