武汉大学化学与分子科学学院教授,博士生导师;国务院政府特殊津贴专家(2020),第四届Yoshida Prize(吉田奖,2019),国家“万人计划”科技创新领军人才(2017),国家中青年科技创新领军人才(2015),英国皇家化学学会会士(2015),长江学者特聘教授(2014),国家杰出青年科学基金(2010),教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果(科学技术)一等奖(2017,第一完成人),湖北省自然科学一等奖(2012,第一完成人)。担任(曾任)中国化学会催化委员会均相催化专业委员会副主任委员、中国化学会有机化学学科委员会委员,中国化学会物理有机化学专业委员会委员,Chemical Reviews、Chem、ACS Catalysis顾问编委、Chemistry-An Asian Journal、Chinese Chemical Letters编委,ChemSusChem国际顾问编委
